SIL services are designed to help you live as independently as possible, especially if you require higher levels of support such as overnight care (active or inactive) and assistance with daily activities like personal care, cooking, and feeding. SIL funding is available whether you live alone or in shared accommodation, allowing you to choose a living arrangement that best fits your needs. This could mean living in your own home with SIL funding or in registered Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). Kiki Community Care can provide tailored support in your home or in one of our specialized residences.
At Kiki Community Care, our Support Workers are carefully selected through a comprehensive screening process and undergo thorough background checks before working with clients. They also participate in regular, specialized training to meet both general and individual client needs.
Our after-hours support service is available 24/7, staffed by trained professionals ready to respond to urgent situations, ensuring you receive prompt and reliable assistance whenever needed.
Kiki Community Care offers access to various homes and properties, with vacancies that may suit your needs. If necessary, we can assist in finding a property in the location of your choice to ensure the perfect fit for your living arrangements.
We offer both in-home and out-of-home respite care, with 24/7 support, giving your primary carer a break or providing temporary care while you decide whether specialist accommodation is right for you.
We offer a variety of housing options designed specifically for individuals with significant functional impairments or very high support needs. Our SDA residences feature built-in accessibility elements that promote greater independence and ensure that support can be provided safely and effectively.
At Kiki Community Care, we partner with Property Managers to secure appropriate housing for clients when we are selected as the preferred SIL (Supported Independent Living) provider. We have homes available in multiple locations; however, if you prefer to live in an area where we currently do not have vacancies, we can assist you in finding a suitable property based on your funding.
To access SDA support, participants must have both SDA and SIL funding in place. We invite you to explore our available homes and vacancies, and contact us for a confidential discussion on how we can best assist you.
